Philly HC will run outdoor beginner and youth skills training programs for our club and non-club players over the Spring outdoor season. The program will take place indoors on a Sport Court surface at Philly Sport Center over two blocks of five training sessions. Player can use outdoor or indoor sticks, however indoor shoes are required.
Sessions are designed to raise the levels of players hockey skills. Coaches will push player to succeed in a fun and enjoyable atmosphere. Session content will be youth level skill development, tempo, power and accuracy of passing, speed and power of player movement. Beginners are welcome and encouraged. Loaner sticks are available.
Athletes interested in travel hockey should register for the Spring Tryout and Training Program held at the Proving Grounds on Villanova’s water based pitch and Philly Sport Center instead.
Block 1 and 2 will run over 5 weeks, once weekly = 05 sessions. You can register for one or both training blocks.
We are encouraging boys to start playing hockey with Philly HC. As such, we are offering 5 boys spots at 50% discount per each training block. Bring your brother, neighbor, classmate or friend and they will receive this discount.
